We've made some exciting changes to our donation process!
Donation Partnerships
In order to ensure our support has the most direct impact and meaningful impact on our communities, the Charity Foundation has shifted our donation process to focus on organizations and groups based on what is happening throughout the year to actively address current needs. This partnership approach allows us to work side-by-side with them and tell more of the story behind each organization's impact.

Heroes Night Out
United Heritage Credit Union and its Charity Foundation are proud to share that we are partnering with Heroes Night Out to support local military service members and their families. Ahead of the holiday, the organization, the local community, and United Heritage came together to help fulfill 28 families' wish lists for their children as a surprise on Christmas. Additionally, we donated gift cards to each family to purchase essential items during this season. United Heritage’s contributions totaled $12,000 towards Heroes Night Out’s Christmas initiative. The organization is 100% donation-based and relies on volunteers to help support their initiatives and events that provide resources and service to military families.

Educating youth is important for the growth of our community, and so are the teachers who help to foster this. United Heritage Charity Foundation believes in giving where you live, and that one of the best ways to make a change is to directly improve the lives of individuals. The focus for quarter three is Education. This year, the Charity Foundation hosted a giveaway for Texas teachers. Of those who submitted their Amazon wishlists, 80 were randomly selected to receive up to $250 worth of school supplies. The United Heritage Charity Foundation (UHCF) wrapped half the year with its quarter two donation partner, Breast Cancer Resource Center (BCRC). UHCF donates to organizations and other community-serving groups that align with its four Areas of Focus. Breast cancer affects many people, it can be daunting to understand and prepare for the journey. We are proud to support this organization, which works to ensure that everyone, regardless of social status feels empowered to gain the knowledge and the support they need. As BCRC’s Mission Sponsor for Art Bra Austin, UHCF contributed $25,000 to the May 13 event, which resulted in over $500,000 raised for BCRC. For more information, visit https://bcrc.org/.

Senior Access
In quarter one of 2022, the United Heritage Charity Foundation worked with Senior Access, a local organization that assists seniors over the age of 60 by providing transportation and essential services. Founded in 1993, Senior Access currently supports over 1,300 senior clients located in the Round Rock, Pflugerville, Hutto, East Austin, and Manor areas of Central Texas.
