Protect Your Router

In order to steal personal information, like Online Banking credentials, scammers are now sending emails including links that change the settings on your internet router if clicked. Attacks such as this often bypass antivirus software, so the security breach can go undetected for a long period of time. It is recommended you update the username and password on your wired or wireless router often as a safety precaution.

Do not click on any links if the email you receive looks suspicious or is from an unfamiliar sender. As a reminder, UHCU will never ask for your account or Social Security Number via email, text or phone call. Please visit our Fraud Protection page for more information.
