Internet Explorer Browser Support Ending

Microsoft announced earlier this year that they plan to end support for most versions of Internet Explorer (IE) in January 2020. Prior to this, support for IE 10 and older ended 1.12.16. 2023 Donation Drive

We are excited to announce that UHCU is hosting a Donation Drive to benefit Heroes Night Out, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to providing resources and services to local Veterans, Service Members, and their families. We are accepting monetary donations through Venmo to help provide gifts and essentials for those families in need this holiday season. 100% of proceeds will be paid directly to Heroes Night Out.

2023 School Supply Drive

United Heritage Credit Union (UHCU) recently donated a variety of school supplies, including backpacks, binders, markers, and folders, to two charitable organizations in Central and East Texas: SAFE and PATH. The donation of 2,500 items marked the success of UHCU's 2023 School Supply Drive.

Back-to-school is just around the corner, and that means it's time to start thinking about school supplies. But for many families, the cost of school supplies can be a financial burden. That's why United Heritage Credit Union is hosting a School Supply Drive.

From July 24 to August 5, UHCU will be collecting backpacks and school supplies at all branch locations. We are accepting a variety of items, including backpacks, binders, pencils, notebooks, and more.

2023 Diaper Drive Benefiting PATH!

We are excited to announce that for the month of April, United Heritage will be supporting PATH as its Diaper Drive sponsor of the month! The United Heritage Charity Foundation has been working with PATH, a local Tyler, Texas non-profit organization, as its donation partner. PATH’s annual event helps to empower East Texas citizens and gives them the resources they and their babies need. To learn more about this partnership and other ways United Heritage Charity Foundation, the giving arm of the Credit Union, has given to PATH, visit www.uhcf.org.

2024 Holiday Toy Drive

United Heritage Credit Union has teamed up with the United Heritage Charity Foundation to host a Holiday Toy Drive from Tuesday, November 12, 2024 to Friday, November 29, 2024 benefiting the Williansom County Children's Advocacy Center and Toys for Tots in Tyler, TX.
 

2024 School Supply Drive!

The new school year is fast approaching, and for many families, affording school supplies can be a challenge. United Heritage Credit Union is here to help! We're hosting a School Supply Drive, benefitting Williamson County children's Advocacy Center, to ensure every child in our community has the tools they need to succeed.

From July 23 to August 2, UHCU will be collecting backpacks and school supplies at all branch locations. We are accepting a variety of items, including backpacks, binders, pencils, notebooks, and more.

2023 Teacher Wishlist Giveaway

United Heritage Credit Union and its Charity Foundation directly supported local teachers within Texas to ease the burden of costs teachers pay out of their own pockets. Focusing on education is critical, and that is why United Heritage hosted a Teacher Wishlist Giveaway. Through the giveaway, 80 Texas teachers received up to $250 in items from their wishlist. That is a total of $20,000 worth of free school supplies given to teachers in local school districts.

Lakeway Branch's 10 Acts of Kindness

United Heritage Credit Union’s Lakeway branch recently celebrated its 10th anniversary with 10 Acts of Kindness. As a way to say thank you to members and the surrounding community, the Lakeway branch participated in Five Acts of Kindness directed toward UHCU members and another Five Acts of Kindness directed at the local community. The United Heritage Charity Foundation is proud to announce its contribution of $20,000 towards the construction of a new playground for PATH’s backyard. This exciting project will provide a safe and fun space for children in the Tyler community to play and explore.

United Heritage Charity Foundation Donates $20,000 to Local Military and Their Families for the Holidays

United Heritage Credit Union and its Charity Foundation have partnered with Heroes Night Out, a local non-profit dedicated to supporting active military, veterans, and their families. United Heritage donated $12,000 toward Heroes Night Out's Christmas initiative by purchasing wish list items and gift cards for military families. Through the Charity Foundation's partnership with Heroes Night Out, the group gave an additional donation of $8,000 to go towards a women's event being planned for 2024, totaling $20,000 altogether.

The United Heritage H. Ralph Wilburn Memorial Scholarship Committee presented a $5,000 scholarship to Amanda Farrar on June 25 at the Dell Diamond in Round Rock, Texas. 

United Heritage Community Scholarships Awarded

UHCU will continue to provide members with access to their funds directly or electronically. UHCU also continues to remain available to our members through our drive-thru lanes, as well as appointment only in several of our lobbies.
