Reminder: Suspicious SMS Texts

As always, United Heritage Credit Union's risk and fraud teams are staying as ahead of the curve as possible when it comes to possible threats to our members. In an effort to keep members' personal and financial information secure, we wanted to remind you to be wary of any phone calls or text messages referencing anything financial related or anything requesting personal information.

UHCU has received multiple reports of members receiving a suspicious SMS text message requesting action by the member. We will never request this information from our members, including the last four digits of your card number, your PIN, and CVV security code on your card.

These SMS text messages are not from United Heritage Credit Union. This is a fraudulent attempt to collect your personal information and access your account.

If you receive a SMS text message regarding your UHCU debit card that you believe may be fraudulent, you do not need to respond. You can confirm your card activity directly by calling us at 512.435.4545903.597.7484 or 800.531.2328
