Update Computer, Phone to Protect from Vulnerabilities

In light of the discoveries of two security flaws known as Meltdown and Spectre, United Heritage Credit Union strongly encourages all members to ensure their computers and smartphones are running on the most up-to-date software.

These security flaws affect nearly all modern microprocessors, which are present in every computer and smartphone. The flaws could allow hackers to read the memory content of your computer or smartphone, including passwords and other sensitive data stored on the devices.

The best way to protect yourself at the moment is to update all of your devices to the most up-to-date software and keep up with security fixes as they become available.
